Allison Williams, Company Director

 

Growing up dancing on the Eastern Shore, Allison has always felt passionately about sharing the art of dance with those around her. With several years experience in the nonprofit education field, Allison was instrumental in founding Continuum Dance. Allison currently lives on Tilghman Island and works as a Field Scientist for a local environmental consulting company, as well as a small-scale farmer on a local produce farm and in her backyard garden.

Chloe Tong, Artistic Director

 

Chloe, Continuum's first artistic director, graduated from Randolph College with a BFA in dance. At RC, she trained in Modern dance under Pamela Risenhoover with the core technique of Martha Graham. She also studied under the techniques of Take (Ta-Ka) Ueyama, Isadora Duncan, Dominique Angel (Joffrey Ballet), and many Paul Taylor dancers. She has performed pieces such as Esplanade (Paul Taylor), Footsteps in the Snow, Flight (Take Dance Company), as well as a few Duncan pieces. 

Malley Hester

 

Malley stepped into the role of Artistic Director for Continuum Dance in April 2018 and was one of the founding company members of the company. Malley has been dancing since she was three, having been locally trained with further instruction from a myriad of professionals. She currently lives in Cordova and serves as a social worker in our local Eastern Shore community.

Sheryl Evans

 

Sheryl brings over 30 years of dance experience to Continuum. Her training includes ballet, jazz, tap, and modern, as well as gymnastics, acrobatics, and aerobics. She studied for several years at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in California before moving to New York City to further her training. While in New York, she studied with June Lewis of the Martha Graham Company at Brooklyn College and with Joy Kellman of NYU. 

Caitlyn Creasy

Caitlyn has been dancing for 20 years and has been teaching dance for five years. A recent graduate of Washington College, with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Dance, Caitlyn currently works with Habitat for Humanity. While in school, Caitlyn was a member of the college’s dance team, dance club, Delta Eta Pi (dance honor society), Alpha Chi Omega, and Habitat for Humanity.
