Allison Speight, Company Director
Dancing since age three, Allison trained locally with the Mid Shore Dance Academy. She has performed roles such as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. While pursuing her education and career in the field of Environmental & Chesapeake Bay Studies, Allison has continued her dance training and experience part time. She currently teaches at two local dance studios, Mid Shore Dance Academy and To the Pointe. Dance Studio.
Chloe Tong, Artistic Director
Chloe graduated from Randolph College with a BFA in dance in 2014. At RC, she trained in Modern dance under Pamela Risenhoover with the core technique being Martha Graham. She also studied under the techniques of Take (Ta-Ka) Ueyama, Isadora Duncan, Dominique Angel (danced with the Joffrey Ballet), and many Paul Taylor dancers. She has performed pieces such as Esplanade (Paul Taylor), Footsteps in the Snow, Flight (Take Dance Company), as well as a few Duncan pieces.
Malley's dance training includes over eighteen years through Dance Harrison Street, under Debbie Beasley and Constance Walsh. Spread over her years as a student, she took classes from various professionals such as Janet Shibata, Connor Walsh, Kimberly Dyer, and a multitude of other excellent teachers. Malley is actively involved as an instructor at local dance studios, as well as a choreographer for numerous local school musical theatre productions.
Sheryl brings over 30 years of dance experience to Continuum. Her training includes ballet, jazz, tap, and modern, as well as gymnastics, acrobatics, and aerobics. She studied for several years at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in California before moving to New York City to further her training. While in New York, she studied with June Lewis of the Martha Graham Company at Brooklyn College and with Joy Kellman of NYU.
