Rachel Andrew, a Talbot county native, is a freshman at Saints Peter and Paul High School. Rachel has been dancing for 12 years at the Mid Shore Dance Academy. She has studied ballet, pointe, lyrical ballet, jazz, modern, musical theatre, contemporary, and hip hop, with ballet being her favorite. This is Rachel’s third season with Continuum Dance. She also enjoys fishing, crabbing, and boating.
Grace Burns is 15 years old and just started sophomore year at Saints Peter and Paul High School. This is Grace’s second season as a Continuum Dance apprentice. Grace has been dancing for the past eight years at the MidShore Dance Academy. She has studied in ballet, tap, lyrical ballet, musical theater, modern, jazz, hip hop, African, and contemporary. Her favorites are ballet and tap, for she loves both equally. She dances five nights a week, all while juggling homework, band, choir, acting, and other clubs and activities.
Kaitlyn Doetsch is a 17 year old entering her senior year at Colonel Richardson High School. She has been dancing since she was two years old and absolutely loves it, especially jazz, musical theater, hip hop, lyrical, and ballet. Besides dancing, Kaitlyn loves to play tennis and recently won first place in the Ocean City Girls Gold Flight Tournament.
Julia Eismeier has been studying dance for 11 of her 15 years. She hails from Centreville, MD and when she’s not dancing, which is rare, she prefers the outdoors. If there’s a style of dance, she’s tried it and especially loves the musicality of modern and contemporary dance. She belongs to a cat named Lulu.
Madeline Frankos is an eighth grader who resides in Talbot County. This is her first year as an apprentice with Continuum Dance. She has been dancing for eleven years at MidShore Dance Academy in Easton, studying ballet, modern, and jazz, as well as ballet theatre and contemporary theatre. Her favorite dance style is modern. Outside of dance, Madeline enjoys drawing, playing with her dog, and hanging out with friends. When she grows up, she wants to be a zoologist while also taking dance classes in her free time.
Rorie Garland is a 10th grader at Colonel Richardson High School and is entering her 13th year of dance at To the Pointe. where she takes classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, African, Irish, and Hip Hop, with Tap being her favorite style. Rorie has had the opportunity to perform with Disney Youth Performing Arts four times, has performed six halftime shows for the Harlem Globetrotters, danced at HersheyPark, and has participated in numerous parades, conventions, local events, and the annual Md Council for Dance State Festival. She also spends much of her time playing piano, upright bass, bass guitar, euphonium, and singing, as well as being a member of Crashbox Theatre Troupe. Rorie plans to be a Music Educator but would also like to direct her own Dance Company one day.
Natalie Haddock is a 7th grader at St. Michaels Middle School. She is entering her eighth year of dance at Mid Shore Dance Academy. She loves all forms of dance, but if she had to choose her favorite, it would be ballet. Natalie is so excited to be an apprentice with Continuum. When she is not dancing, Natalie enjoys singing and acting. She loves animals, spending time with friends and family, decorating her bedroom, and swimming. One day, Natalie would love to dance professionally and own her own dance studio.
Morgan Reichart is a 10th grader at North Caroline High School. She has been dancing for 13 years under various instructors. This is her first year as an apprentice with Continuum. She most enjoys jazz and contemporary styles of dance. She has performed twice in Disney World, has held several roles in To The Pointe’s annual Nutcracker show as well as participated in their various recitals and showcases. When she is not dancing she enjoys attending her high school’s sporting events and absolutely loves the beach!
Riley Webster is a 15 year old student from North Caroline High School. She resides in Greensboro. Riley begins her 13th year of dancing with her home studio of To the Pointe in Ridgely. This is her first year with Continuum as an apprentice. Continuum has afforded her an opportunity to work with new choreographers and make new friends. She enjoys all dance styles, with ballet being her favorite.
Ashleigh Wojcik is a sophomore at St. Michaels Middle High School and has been dancing for eleven years at MidShore Dance Academy. She studies all types of dance styles including ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, jazz, modern, and hip-hop, with her favorite styles being ballet and hip-hop. When not dancing, Ashleigh likes to go shoe shopping to add to her vast collection, watch Marvel movies, and enjoys seeing live music and shows. Dance has become such a crucial aspect of her life, in large part because of the wonderful friends and, ultimately, family she has found through it.
