Malley Everngam, Artistic Director
Malley has been dancing for 35 years and was trained right here in Easton. Dance has empowered her with vulnerability, determination and an indescribable sense of freedom. More importantly, dance has given her a sense of belonging. Outside of the studio, she wears many costumes: a mental health clinician specializing in trauma treatment, a corgi mom and an avid lover of documentaries… much to her husband’s happiness.
Katie Doetsch
Katie has been dancing for 22 years and plans on never stopping. She was trained in Easton and also danced at Salisbury University. Dancing makes her feel alive and fulfilled in life. When she is not dancing, she’s working on getting her certification in MRI, playing tennis with her dad, and enjoying time with her corgi, Daisy.
Sherry Evans
Sherry, aka Miss Sheryl, has been dancing with friends for over 60 years in California, Montana, New York and Maryland. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to continue to dance with Continuum Dance. She lives in Easton with her husband and enjoys taking her granddaughters to ballet, piano and soccer.
Carrie Hill
Carrie’s love of performance on stage started early – she has been singing, dancing, and acting since she was young, continuing her studies as an adult through college and community theater performances, and training at the Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education. Carrie is a soprano with Tidewater Singers and founding member of Allegra! Women’s Chorus. Behind the scenes, she’s costumed productions for Chesapeake Children’s Theater, Tred Avon Players, and The Avalon. When not rehearsing or practicing piano and accordion, Carrie enjoys spinning yarn and knitting, as both a pattern designer and test knitter for well-known knitwear designers.
Katie Hill
Katie has been dancing since she was four, studying the styles of contemporary, tap, musical theater, African, ballet, and jazz, and joined Continuum in 2019. She is in her third year of college at Southern New Hampshire University and is currently focusing on environmental science. Katie also fills her time with coding games in Python and playing piano.
Alyssa Zajan
Coming from a family deeply involved in musical theater, Alyssa started dancing as a child over 25 years ago while growing up in Burlington, VT. She is particularly interested in the story telling of dance and how we convey narrative through movement. Alyssa leads the education team at Port Discovery Children's museum, where she works to enrich children's lives through playful learning, building curiosity, and creative movement.
