Our adult dance classes are designed for people of all backgrounds - from absolute beginners to seasoned dancers - offering a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can learn, grow, and enjoy the process. With an emphasis on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and body awareness, our classes make dance accessible, empowering, and fun!
Classes are held weekly, except federal holidays, and are open to ages 16+, unless otherwise noted.
Mondays
5:30-6:30pm: Open Ballet
Open Ballet:
Step into the beauty of ballet! This open-level class encourages dancers to build confidence, improve form, and find joy in movement. While best-suited for those with foundational ballet knowledge, this class is open to all.
Suggested footwear: ballet slippers or socks
Thursdays
5:30-6:30pm: Stretch & Strengthen
6:30-7:30pm: Rotating style each month (see below)
Stretch & Strengthen:
Loosen up, tone up, and feel great! This easygoing class blends gentle stretching with strengthening exercises to help you move better and feel stronger - on the dance floor or off. Yoga mats are optional (and available if needed).

Thursday Rotating Classes (6:30-7:30):
January: Modern Fusion
Where modern's raw energy meets lyrical's grace, Modern Fusion invites dancers to explore movement with meaning. This grounded yet fluid class encourages you to express the feeling of movement beyond technique - to move not just through space, but through emotion. Discover the balance between strength and softness, release and control, as you embody the connection between power and poetry.
Suggested footwear: bare feet, socks, or foot undeez
February: Tap
Ready to make some noise? Whether you're new to tap or dusting off your old shoes, this class is all about rhythm and joy. You'll learn (or refresh) tap fundamentals, playful combinations, and dynamic choreography - all in a supportive environment where mistakes are welcome and enthusiasm is required!
Note: We will be dancing on tap boards for this class, so space is limited and registration is required. Please let us know whether you have your own board to bring or would like to borrow one.
Suggested footwear: tap shoes are highly encouraged in order to get the full experience of this class.
March: Intro. to Jazz
Step into the rhythm and rediscover the joy of movement in this upbeat class, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to get back into dance. We'll break down classic jazz technique with a feel-good twist, exploring sharp lines, smooth transitions, sassy accents, and expressive movement. Expect a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can build strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence at your own pace.

April: Hip Hop
Get ready to turn up the music and bring the vibes, as you tap into your own style in this adult hip hop class. Rooted in rhythm and groove, this class dives into foundational hip hop movement, textured dynamics, and musical storytelling - all set to high-energy beats. We'll break down combos step by step, play with timing and attitude, and learn how to move with intention and presence. Our studio atmosphere is relaxed, inclusive, and all about self-expression - no pressure, no perfection, just fun.

May: Intro. to Ballet
Always wanted to try ballet but unsure where to begin? This class is the perfect place to state! Designed especially for adults with little to no experience, you'll be gently introduced to fundamental positions, basic technique, and graceful movement in a welcoming, judgment-free setting.

June: Lyrical
Influenced by ballet, modern, and jazz, this class blends technical movement with emotional expression. This feel-good class encourages you to truly listen to the music and let it guide the way you move. We'll flow through sequences of expressive choreography, exploring dynamics, breath, and musicality while connecting movement to feeling. Focusing on quality of movement rather than perfection allows us to create space to dance with intention and find those meaningful, powerful moments of movement.
